Analyst, Tax

Key Responsibilities: - Must be a Chartered Accountant or hold an MBA in Finance with exposure to Domestic Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, and M&A - Minimum of 2-3 years of tax experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a large multinational company - Handling tax office-related work, including responding to notices from tax authorities - Developing and maintaining effective relationships with tax authorities, business teams, and external service providers - Experience with statutory and tax audits, certifications, tax provisions, deferred tax workings, and reporting of contingent liability - Assisting in the formation and modification of key tax processes, compliance, and suggesting ideas for automation - Knowledge of Indian direct tax compliance, including corporate tax returns of Indian and foreign companies operating in India Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance - Minimum of 2-3 years of tax experience - Experience in tax technology and data automation tools - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to translate tax technical items into non-technical terms Additional Details: This role reports to the Senior Analyst, Tax at the Pune TransUnion office for three days a week.
