Job Description

Perform period closing activities and validation checks post-closing.
Manage Fixed Assets accounting and Capital budget monitoring.
Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system.
Conduct periodic reviews of the fixed asset schedule to identify idle assets.
Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger with the general ledger.
Run depreciation for all fixed assets and perform depreciation forecasting for budget purposes.
Handle Accounting for Restructuring Projects and conduct complex analysis to provide insights such as impairment or restructuring projects, new plant set-ups.
Run monthly Plant Performance Report and conduct MWIP Report and Analysis.
Perform the fixed asset master data adjustment and provide FA data to support tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct Y/E asset accounting and undertake costing of new products and periodic cost revisions.
Calculate, post, and allocate JE, allocating overheads to the product based on processing stages.
Perform cost center review and resolve discrepancies, prepare daily/weekly purchase price variance analysis reports, and settle internal orders daily/weekly.
Prepare monthly costing reports, post standard and judgment-based accruals, and calculate/review/approve inventory reserve requirements including SLOB monthly.
Analyze Product Wise profitability and perform process reconciliations, analyzing actual costs against budgeted costs and explaining variances.
Prepare standard cost calculations for commercial and manufacturing sites and perform Budget costing, working on complex analysis to provide insights.
Perform FI / CO / PA reconciliation monthly and SOX assessment and compliance.

Job Requirements

CMA (Intermediate or Final) or any other finance graduate.
1-5 years of experience in Costing & Finance.
Proficient in SAP -FI/CO/PA modules.
Advanced Excel skills.
Working knowledge of SOX.
Experience with Google suits.
Comfortable managing and analyzing large data and developing visualization in Slides (or other tools).
Prior experience in working with multiple teams, including business engagement across virtual platforms.
Strong understanding of Cost and Plant accounting.
Well-versed with BI Platforms, Domo, Sigma, Tableau, and Scripting.
