Analyst - Mortgage Underwriting

As an Analyst in US Mortgage Underwriting, you will be part of a team providing Mortgage Underwriting Services to USA clients from the Private Mortgage Lending industry. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on US Mortgage Underwriting Process of 12M/30 Year Loan Products - Examine and evaluate documents such as Credit & Background reports, Loan application forms, financial statements, entity documents, and all processing documentation. - Have knowledge of all aspects of real estate including underwriting valuation, purchases/sales, due diligence, and legal, title, and escrow documentation. - Interface with all departments to obtain further information, quote rates, present proposals, and explain company underwriting policies. - Verify market comparables for both rental values as well as property sale values. - Develop and maintain an up-to-date and sound knowledge of multiple loan product guidelines offered by the company and risk assessment tools used to decision loans. - Demonstrate the ability to assess risks with experience presenting recommendations to senior management for approval. **Qualifications and Experience:** - 2-4 years of experience in US Mortgage 12M/30 Year Loan Underwriting - Well-versed with skills to review and analyze Property Appraisals. - Strong knowledge of guidelines related to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to senior management. - Bachelor's degree in finance, MBA, M.
