Anaesthesia Technician

As an Anaesthesia Technician at the hospital, your role involves preparing equipment and medications before surgeries, assisting in patient preparation, providing technical support during surgeries, monitoring patients" vital signs, and assisting in postoperative recovery. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, managing inventory, fostering teamwork, and ensuring proper documentation. - Prepare equipment and drugs for surgeries, including setting up anaesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitors. - Assist in positioning patients, attaching monitoring devices, and performing preparatory tasks. - Support the anaesthesiologist during surgery by adjusting anaesthesia machines, providing necessary instruments, and monitoring patient status. - Monitor and record vital signs, administer drugs, and respond to emergencies promptly. - Assist in transferring patients to the recovery room, monitor them during recovery, and disinfect equipment. - Perform daily checks on equipment, ensure timely servicing and calibration, and manage inventory of drugs and consumables. - Coordinate effectively with medical staff, maintain records, and report equipment faults or incidents. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience as an Anaesthesia Technician or similar role in a healthcare setting. - Certification or training in anaesthesia technology. - Strong knowledge of anaesthesia equipment, medications, and procedures. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. - Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and ensuring equipment safety. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies efficiently.,
