Job Description

As an Ammonia Plant Operator, your role involves the daily operation and maintenance of various equipment including Ammonia Compressors, Steam Boilers, Solenoids of IQF, Flake Ice Machines, Chillers, Chill Room Units, Cold store & Anti Room AC Units. You will be responsible for switching ON/OFF the equipment as per instructions from the Maintenance Manager or Plant Engineer. Your key responsibilities will include: - Checking oil levels, Head Cooling Water, Compressor Belts/Couplings for abnormalities, and rectifying errors. - Inspecting HP Receivers, Vessels, Valve Stations for leaks, tightening Glands, and maintaining liquid levels. - Operating and managing Condensers, Cooling Tower, adding chemicals, and maintaining records. - Operating Refrigeration Control Panels, Drives, Solenoid controls, inspecting Vessels Float level, and maintaining liquid levels. - Writing in the daily logbook, maintaining Running Hours Record, and Preventive Maintenance Records. - Ensuring all Machinery and Processing Equipment are in good working condition without any issues. - Checking Wheels, Drive Sprockets, Belt opening Liners, Motor & Gear Box, Bearings, and Control Panel Display functioning, and applying food Grease for the Bearings.
