You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial refrigeration systems, cold rooms, chillers, freezers, and their associated controls. Your primary focus will be on conducting preventive and reactive maintenance on cooling systems to ensure consistent temperature control for perishable goods. Monitoring refrigerant levels, handling charging, recovery, and leak detection as required will also be part of your duties. In addition, you will need to maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, and defrost systems to ensure optimal performance. Inspecting electrical connections, sensors, thermostats, and control boards associated with refrigeration equipment will also be a key aspect of your role. It is essential to document all work and maintain service logs for audits and compliance purposes. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, refrigerant handling guidelines, and environmental standards will be crucial. Moreover, you should be able to work in Ammonia and Firon Plant environments. This is a full-time position that offers benefits such as Provident Fund. You should have a Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience in refrigeration. Shift availability includes both Day Shift and Night Shift, with a preference for both. Duties to Be Performed: Senior Engineer Mechanical Systems will work on designing and delivering mechanical systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The mechanical systems include Cleanroom, HVAC, Process exhausts, vacuum, condenser, chilled water, process and process cooling water, fire protection, diesel fuel, natural gas and associated, equipment, ducts and pipe works. The Duties/ Responsibilities of the Prospective Candidate are , Responsible for Concept / Basic / Detail design for Mechanical systems as mentioned, but not limited to the above Capable to develop detailed engineering of the mechanical systems as mentioned, but not limited to the above in new and/or existing production building Conduct feasibility study and conceptual design of Mechanical Systems throughout all technological aspects Review design documentation of the mechanical systems as mentioned, but not limited to the above in preparation for testing and commissioning and validation Coordination and engineering in regards of R&D Equipment requirements Provision of engineering service for tendering, conduct site show round and brief bidders Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Clearly define and align inter-discipline technical interfaces and scope demarcation Work with CAD drafters and BIM modeler to guide, check and carry out field verification with them Prepare SOW (Scope of work) for bid package, including BOM for form of tender Calculate system OSE (Operating System Efficiency) of chilled water system to meet MEES requirements Frictional loss calculation for fan and pump head and estimation of power requirements. Your familiarity with available equipment, modern technology, construction methods, and CAD/ BIM is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities : System Operation: Monitoring and operating ammonia refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and other components. Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Drafter with hands-on experience on drafting of Surface Condenser (Rectangular & Circular for power plant application). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, checking and revising detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D model (case to case) for both rectangular and circular condensers. Essential Responsibilities: Prepare and revise 2D (AutoCAD) assembly & fabrication drawings and fabrication details for steam surface condensers (rectangular and circular). Preparation of Condenser part & assembly 3D model through Autodesk Inventor software Develop GA drawings, nozzle orientations, tube layouts, support arrangements, weld maps, and bill of materials. Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate and clear CAD drawings and 3D modes (if required). Work closely with design engineers, project engineers, and other drafting team members to ensure accurate representation of design intent. Ensure all drawings meet applicable design codes (HEI for Surface Condenser, ASME, TEMA) and company drafting standards. Establish dimension and detail logic based on past project drawings and conclude the dimension philosophy based on discussion with design engineer. Should have innovative ideas for critical design aspects, design modification based on space, plant layout, interference check etc. Maintain revision control and drawing documentation as per the engineering workflow process. Support the design team in addressing fabrication queries, making sketches to clarify to shop and incorporating as-built changes into drawings. Assist in preparing layout options, design improvements, and detailing solutions to optimize manufacturability. Ensure timely submission of deliverables (drawing & documents) and coordination with vendors and fabrication teams as required. Direct co-ordination with TEi US team for drafting guidance, doubt clarification. Education and Experience Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum of 5 years of drafting experience focused on condenser design Primarily should have experience of working on large rectangular condenser drawing & detailing. Experience on drafting of Feedwater heater projects will be preferred Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD (latest version), Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent 3D software. Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, pressure vessel components, and condenser part detailing. Basic knowledge of welding, heat treatment, NDT, machining tolerance etc. Experience working with industry codes like HEI, ASME, TEMA.
