AMHS Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for partnering with the technology transfer mother company to plan, design, enable, and execute the operational support of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) with vendors. Your role will involve learning the AMHS semi-standard and collaborating with fab organization to implement AMHS solutions. Additionally, you will work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in automation processes and participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality. Your operational support responsibility will include monitoring and maintaining automation systems to ensure high uptime and reliability of automation tools and AMHS. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with technology transfer mother company, PSMC, to plan, design, enable, and execute operational support of AMHS with vendors - Learn the AMHS semi-standard and collaborate with AMHS vendors to improve hardware and software capability - Collaborate with fab organization to implement AMHS solutions - Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement - Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality - Provide consistent support to operations by monitoring and maintaining automation systems - Ensure high uptime and reliability of automation tools and AMHS - Monitor tool performance post-release to production and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards - Conduct regular maintenance of automation tools to ensure long-term performance and reliability Qualifications: - BE in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering - 4 to 10 years of experience - Experience in troubleshooting and repairs of automation tools - Ability to collaborate with the IT team to resolve automation system issues - Participation in shift pass-down meetings and providing detailed reports or feedback on issues - Implementation of 6S practices and management of spare parts inventory - Experience in adjusting, testing, and commissioning of Daifuku or Muratec AMHS is a plus Additional Details: The company values competencies such as teamwork, agility, customer empathy, purposeful pursuit of goals, pioneering, deep domain knowledge, and being future-ready.,
