JOB PURPOSE Effectively delivering the Digital Fraud & Risk related responsibilities toward the Merchant Acquiring Business & Transactions Processing Services offered by HPY needs the Fraud & Risk Team to ensure that we are compliant with all the expectations of the Regulators and Card Schemes. This is especially important in light of the in-principle PA/PG license granted to HPY. In terms of ME Risk Underwriting both at preonboarding stage, and at transactional management stage thereafter, a resource who is conversant with these aspects, and is zealous to contribute meaningfully is needed. A significant crunch of manpower exists in the FRM Team, and therefore the hiring for this position is a priority. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Co-ordination within various internal stakeholders- Business, Technology & Operations, and external stakeholders such as Banks and Payment Aggregators that we work with, so as to have a focus on appropriate level of Merchant Risk Underwriting and Fraud Management. Extensively liaise with these teams to get the necessary inputs and proofs/ documents and to keep recalibrating our risk management strategies in consultation with the Management. 2. Merchant Transaction Exceptions Report Scrutiny & Management; Checking these Reports daily early in the morning to do the necessary interventions before Merchant pay-out. Holdand-release of apparently irregular transactions. Liaise with Banks/ Aggregators, Merchants in case of any queries and documents required. 3. Preventing & detecting Digital Commerce Fraudsboth PoS & E-Commerce merchants. Coordinate with the chargebacks Team to ensure a very low FSR or CSR. 4. Ensuring that only appropriate privileges are given to the Merchants. This includes assignment of most appropriate MCCs, Transaction Limits, EDC Features and facilities etc, 5. Take necessary and sufficient steps in an ongoing manner to ensure AML & CFT obligations for the company by consulting with the Management.
