Dear all, Greeting from Manpower Services... Hiring for Inventory Incharge ..... Location: Siruvapuri Salary: As per Market Standard Experience : 6 to 8 years. Responsibilities: 1. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that products are available as needed. Track stock movement and ensure efficient usage of materials or goods. Perform regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in inventory records. 2. Receiving and Storing Goods: Supervise the receiving and storing of materials and products. Ensure proper storage practices to prevent damage and ensure easy access. Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. 3. Stock Control: Implement stock control procedures to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Work closely with procurement teams to forecast and manage the supply of goods. Maintain optimal stock levels to meet production or sales requirements. 4. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of products for orders. Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers or Stock transfer. Ensure correct documentation for each order and shipment. 5. Inventory Reporting: Prepare regular inventory reports to track stock levels, variances, and any discrepancies. Report inventory issues, shortages, and slow-moving items to management. Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory control. 6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that inventory processes adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area for goods. Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials or products. 7. Team Management: Lead and train a team of inventory staff, ensuring effective and accurate performance. Provide guidance on inventory management best practices and procedures. Skills : Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in inventory management software or systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Inventory turnover rate. Stock accuracy (difference between physical count and system records). Order fulfillment accuracy. Time taken for stock replenishment. Reduction in stockouts or overstock situations.
