AM / Team Lead - US GAAP General Ledger

We are seeking to hire a qualified Chartered Accountants with experience in USGAAP GL to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inFA Module and FA register and maintenance

Lease accounting Under ASC 842 as per US GAAP and dealing with end-to-end US F&A GL month close tasks.

Shift Hours: 2.00 to 11.00pm IST.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience in FA Module and FA register and maintenance
• Lease accounting Under ASC 842 as per US GAAP
• Dealing with end-to-end US F&A GL month close tasks
• Analysis of Balance sheet, Income Statement and Accruals movements
• Initiate and guide the preparation of monthly financial accounts in line with the SOPs and processes in place.
• Understanding and worked under US GAAP
• Oversee the monthly consolidation of the group companies.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end books for audit purposes and Liaison with the auditors for interim and final audits and ensure smooth completion of the same.
• Developing and implementation of suitable internal control systems in the department.
• Bank reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation.
• Analyse monthly financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows. Effectively communicate analysis to management upon request.
• Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis according to the monthly closing schedule.
• Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company.
• Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for relevant entities.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 35 years of post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
• Work experience in Staffing & IT software companies is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively internally / externally.
