Alternative Ops Fund Accounting, Associate 2

You will be an Associate for Alternative Investment Services with experience in Private Equity and Hedge Fund portfolio valuations. You will join a team responsible for Alternative Investment Administration Services. Primary Responsibilities & Skill Sets: - You will be part of the processing team for Alternative Investment Services, focusing on end-to-end accounting and valuations of Private Equity & Hedge Funds for Limited Partners reporting to an Officer. - You should have 2+ years of experience in Alternative ops, with a focus on meeting SLAs for quality and timeliness. - As a quick learner, you will deliver funds/clients efficiently and work on continuous process improvements. - Collaborate with your reviewer/ reporting manager for processing funds/clients and act as a point of contact for client issues. - Work during US hours. Functional Skill Set: - Ability to manipulate large sets of data related to fetching PCAPs, Notices, LODs from GP/IM portals or emails. - Perform end-to-end accounting and valuations of Private Equity & Hedge Funds, interpret PCAPs, ILPAs, Notices & LODs, and track cash flows. - Perform tolerance and validation checks for assigned funds/clients before sign-offs. - Understand Alternative Investments, accounting as per US GAAP or IFRS, and asset classes traded in primary & secondary markets. - Proficiency in Python tools and ability to manage complex data sets are advantageous. Risk Management: - Apply controls, provide sign-off through checklists, and assess issues for relay back to your reviewer. Education & Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Management. - Proficiency in Python tools.
