Required skills and experience Preferred candidate profile 5 - 10 years experience in Business Development, Sales, or Technical Service with demonstrated exposure in chemical industry. Experience working in coating resin industry is an added advantage. Proficiency in English and Tamil languages. Good command in Telugu or Kannada is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Track record in key account management and business / customer development in new markets or with newproducts. Strong hunter mindset to drive business growth. Multi-day practical task planning Demonstrate & train others on lab procedures and techniques Participates in equipment/lab product supplier discussions Development: Formulate coatings & Inks using established templates and procedures. Testing: Conduct coating & paint characterization tests, including Adhesion- Crosscut, Hardness- Solvent resistance, Mechanical, Corrosion, Weather and Chemical resistance, etc. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results, and laboratory procedures along with mandatory SHE documentations. Safety: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintenance: Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Collaboration: Work closely with R&D and technical teams to support new product development and improvement. Preferred candidate profile Number of successful formulations developed within a given timeframe. Average time taken to complete standard tests (adhesion, hardness, chemical resistance). Number of tests conducted per week/month. Accuracy and completeness of laboratory records and documentation. Timeliness in updating and maintaining records. Number of safety incidents. Compliance rate with safety protocols and PPE usage. Frequency and effectiveness of equipment maintenance and calibration. Downtime due to equipment issues.
