Akka & Scala Engineer

As an Akka & Scala Engineer based in Pune, you will be an integral part of our client's backend engineering team. With 4 - 8 years of experience, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing distributed, resilient, and reactive systems using Akka HTTP, Akka Streams, and the Akka Actor Model. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing backend services and APIs with Scala and Akka, architecting actor-based systems, and leveraging Akka Streams for real-time data processing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design discussions, and ensure the high availability and performance of the system. To excel in this role, you must possess strong experience in Scala, a deep understanding of the Akka toolkit, and proficiency in building REST APIs using Akka HTTP. Experience with reactive programming, microservices architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Akka Persistence, Kafka, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms is a plus.
