Job Description – Senior Laboratory Technician Position: Senior Laboratory Technician Location: Zenlife Healthcare (Unit of Aitis Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.) Reports To: Manager Responsibilities: Perform and oversee laboratory tests including hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and clinical pathology. Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols. Supervise and guide junior technicians, trainees, and lab assistants. Collect, process, and analyze biological samples (blood, urine, stool, swabs, etc.). Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper functioning. Implement safety standards, infection control, and waste disposal practices in the lab. Prepare and validate daily/weekly reports, ensuring timely delivery to doctors and patients. Handle home collection requests and ensure proper labeling, transport, and storage of samples. Coordinate with doctors, pathologists, and other departments for smooth workflow. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling patient data and reports. Requirements: DMLT / BMLT / M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology.
