Aircraft Design Engineer

Position 01 : Aircraft Design

Role : Structural Design

Location Electronic City , Bangalore

Educational Qualification B.Tech / M.Tech (Aerospace / Mechanical ) Only

Exp Level : 4+ Years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Should have good knowledge and experience in System Design and development process and quality processes.
• Should be having good exposure and experience in system performance, system design and system installation design and all design and technical/ performance documentation.
• Prior experience in aircraft mechanical system installations on aircraft and functional test is preferred.
• Experience in system tests live at LRU level, overall system level & at aircraft level and Flight Testing procedures
• Experience in Rigging of Flight Controls, Landing Gear systems, etc.
• Experience in carrying out Leak checks and rectification work for Fuel systems, Cabin leaks.
• Working knowledge on Flight Control Actuators, Engine systems, Propellers.
• Working knowledge of preparation of ATP, ATR and certification compliance documentation.

Position 02 : Aircraft Design

Role : Stress Design

Location Electronic City , Bangalore

Educational Qualification B.Tech / M.Tech (Aerospace / Mechanical ) Only

Exp Level : 4+ Years

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conversant with Aerospace terminologies.
• Good working knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composites, and material allowable
• Working knowledge of utilizing MMPDS, MIL-HDBK-5 handbooks and other relevant composite handbooks.
• Having good working experience on linear/ non-linear static analysis, Modal/Dynamic analysis, Fatigue analysis on industry standard specific tools as indicated.
• Having good working knowledge of establishing stress through Classical Approach through Hand Calculations.
• Hands-on on stress tools like Opti struct/Nastran Patran, LS- dyna, ANSYS, NASGRO/AFGRO or any industry specific tools
• Must have working knowledge of creating stress reports/ documents for certification.
• Must be conversant with certification standards like FAR/ JAAR/ CAR/ MIL standards and other UAV standards. Should be conversant with MMPDS and MIL-HDBK-5 standards and other composite standards like ESDU etc .
• Stress analysis domain experience in Linear/Non-Linear static analysis, Dynamic/modal analysis and Fatigue analysis in both metals and composites. Industry specific tools experience in NASTRAN/PATRAN, OPTISTRUCT, ANSYS, FiberSim, NASGRO, AFGRO etc.
• Good Knowledge and experience in aerospace materials in both metallic and composite materials.
• Knowledge and experience in design process and following the stress manuals.
• Knowledge and experience of arriving stress through classical approach through Hand Calculations.

Selection Process : 2 Levels of Technical Interaction (Virtual + F2F)
