AI/ML Engineering Manager

You are seeking an experienced Python and AI/ML, GenAI Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of engineers and data scientists at GlobalLogic. As the Manager Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative AI/ML solutions, managing project timelines, and fostering a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Python and machine learning, combined with leadership experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and Python developers to develop and deploy Generative AI (GenAI) solutions for business innovation. - Provide hands-on technical leadership in designing and building GenAI systems including LLMs, fine-tuned models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and multi-modal AI applications. - Drive the development and deployment of GenAI models and pipelines using Python and GCP-native services like Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and AI Studio. - Design scalable, secure, and resilient AI architectures focusing on GenAI performance, governance, latency, throughput, and cost optimization. - Collaborate with product managers, data teams, and business stakeholders to identify and deliver GenAI use cases across the enterprise. - Stay updated on the evolving GenAI landscape and integrate advancements such as open-source LLMs, diffusion models, vector databases, and GenAI APIs. - Promote best practices in GenAI model development, evaluation, interpretability, and responsible AI to ensure ethical and compliant use of AI technologies. - Guide the team in implementing robust MLOps practices on GCP, including CI/CD, feature stores, model monitoring, and lifecycle management. - Support AWS-to-GCP migration efforts ensuring smooth transition of AI/ML workloads while maintaining performance. - Mentor team members in GenAI development, scalable ML infrastructure, and cloud-native engineering practices. - Monitor and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives aligned with business goals. - Own the production readiness, incident management, and stability of AI systems, addressing performance and reliability challenges. - Communicate effectively with senior leadership on GenAI strategy, roadmap progress, risks, and opportunities. - Contribute to enterprise-wide AI initiatives including cloud modernization, AI/ML center of excellence, and cloud cost governance.
