Job Description

The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which need to be deployed at a client end and ensure they meet 100% quality assurance parameters. You will be instrumental in understanding the requirements and design of the product/software. This involves developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. You will investigate problem areas throughout the software development life cycle, facilitate root cause analysis of system issues, and identify ideas to improve system performance. Additionally, you will analyze client requirements, convert them into feasible designs, and collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts. Regular interaction with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities is also required. Your responsibilities will include performing coding and ensuring optimal software/module development. This involves determining operational feasibility, developing and automating processes for software validation, modifying software to fix errors, and analyzing information to recommend system installations or modifications. You will also prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status, ensuring that all codes adhere to defined norms for the project/program/account. Timely and accurate documentation, along with daily project status updates and progress tracking, will be part of your routine. Furthermore, you will be responsible for status reporting and maintaining customer focus with respect to project execution. This includes capturing client requirements and feedback, participating in continuing education and training to remain updated on best practices, consulting with engineering staff, and documenting solutions effectively. Ensuring good quality interaction with customers regarding e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette is essential. Timely responses to customer requests and the absence of complaints, both internally and externally, are key components of this role. The performance parameters for this role include continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software, achieving 100% error-free onboarding & implementation, adherence to the schedule/release plan, ensuring quality & customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and troubleshooting queries, managing software, and enhancing the customer experience. Additionally, generating MIS reports on time is a critical aspect of this position.
