AI Software Engineer (Temp-to-Permanent) Remote – Work from Home - India Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent Location: India (Remote) Domain: Products and Services (AI-driven solutions) Target Candidates: Indian nationals Role Overview We are seeking motivated AI Software Engineers for a temp-to-permanent positions (multiple) to join our dynamic team focused on developing innovative AI powered products and services. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI solutions, with the potential for transition to a permanent role based on performance and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to solve real-world business challenges. Analyze and interpret large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform product development. Train, test, and optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to deliver end-to-end AI solutions. Contribute to the deployment and integration of AI models within products and services. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Undergraduates pursuing such a degree can apply – and work part-time (min. 4 hrs/day) alongside studies, leading to full-time employment post completion of degree upon satisfactory performance at work, and meeting or exceeding expectations of the Employer. 0-4 years of experience in software development, with atleast 6 months to 1 year with focus on AI/ML projects (freshers with exceptional portfolios may also be considered). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and/or Java. Experience with Llama 3, 4 , Google AI, ChatGPT, Claude desired. Experience with AI no-code tools, code generators, and automated testing software desired. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., llama, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (should be able to understand deliverables clearly and communicate work areas, for e.g – explain code formats, and logic used, code alternatives etc. Should have the ability to document work done. We require only candidates who can work independently as well, and are proactive and have a positive attitude towards their work. Preferred Skills Experience in deploying AI models to production environments. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices. Exposure to deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning. Prior experience working with agile teams, remote teams, on product-oriented projects. Client communication experience a plus. Compensation Competitive salary: The temporary period would be 2-3 months before full-time employment. Payouts would be INR 12,500 to INR 20,000 monthly for the temp employment period, and could be INR 40,000 (and upwards) monthly post the temporary employment period – dependent on experience, performance and project scopes for full-time employment. Potential for performance-based conversion to a permanent role.
