AI / NLP Developer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced AI/NLP Developer to build an AI-powered Map Plotter Agent for the Indian Army’s SAMA application. The role involves developing NLP models that understand Hindi-English military commands and convert them into geospatial visualizations to enhance decision-making and operational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop NLP models for intent recognition and entity extraction from mixed-language commands.
• Build secure data pipelines to extract and process tactical & operational data.
• Integrate AI output with GIS layers (routes, heatmaps, markers, etc.) within SAMA.
• Implement role-based access control and maintain audit logs.
• Conduct testing in a sandboxed environment and ensure system compliance.

Required Skills:

• Strong in Python, NLP frameworks (spaCy, Transformers, BERT, NLTK).
• Experience with Machine Learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and GIS APIs (QGIS, ArcGIS).
• Familiar with secure, air-gapped environments and API integrations.
• Solid understanding of data handling (SQL, JSON, Pandas).

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in NLP/AI applications (GIS or defense preferred).
