AI / ML Engineer

As an experienced AI/ML professional, you will be responsible for building and deploying models for various computer vision (CV) tasks such as object detection, OCR, image classification, and face recognition. Your role will involve developing real-time CV pipelines using technologies like YOLOv5/v8, Faster R-CNN, and DeepSORT. You will also work on integrating Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) into CV workflows and end-user applications. Optimizing models for edge devices such as Jetson Nano/Xavier, Coral, and OpenVINO will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will work with annotated image/video datasets, applying augmentation and pre/post-processing techniques. You will also have the opportunity to lead cross-functional AI initiatives and provide guidance on team-level technical decisions. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 4 years of experience in AI/ML with practical deployments. Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and OpenCV is essential. Hands-on experience with OCR tools like Tesseract, PaddleOCR, and EasyOCR is a must. A solid understanding of image processing techniques such as contouring, segmentation, and thresholding is required. Experience in deploying models on edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson and TensorRT is highly beneficial. Exposure to LLMs and building end-to-end AI pipelines will also be advantageous. In addition to the must-have requirements, the following nice-to-have skills would further strengthen your candidacy: - Experience with AWS Textract, Azure OCR, or Google Vision API - Building tools for Named Entity Recognition (NER), invoice parsing, or document classification - Familiarity with DeepStream, Streamlit dashboards, and MLflow/ONNX - Academic research or published work in AI/CV fields - Knowledge of CUDA, sensors, and camera hardware integration By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI + CV projects that have a real-world impact.
