AI Engr II

As an AI Engineer II at Honeywell, you will be a key individual contributor to our AI team, focusing on the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions. This role is an opportunity to apply your expertise in AI to solve complex challenges and contribute to innovative products and services, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Autonomous Navigation. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to design, build, and deploy AI models and systems, actively participating in the entire development lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms, with a specific focus on Generative AI techniques (e.g., Transformers, GANs, Diffusion Models) for content generation, data augmentation, and synthetic data creation.
• Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) for various applications.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate AI solutions into Honeywell's products and services.
• Process and analyze large datasets to train and validate machine learning models.
• Contribute to the optimization and fine-tuning of existing AI models for improved performance and efficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, particularly in the Generative AI space, and apply them to your work.
• Document your work, including model design, training procedures, and experimental results.
• Participate in team discussions and brainstorming sessions to contribute to the overall direction of AI projects.

Qualifications:

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution (e.g. IIT, NIT, IIIT’s) in Computer Science, AI, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying AI/ML models; OR a Master’s degree fresher from a reputed institution (e.g. IIT, NIT, IIIT’s) in a relevant field with hands-on project experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision.
• .Solid understanding of Deep Learning concepts and experience with advanced neural network architectures (e.g., Transformers, CNNs, GANs, Diffusion Models).
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with essential libraries for Generative AI and Computer Vision such as Hugging Face (Transformers, Diffusers), LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenCV, or similar.
