AI Design Intern

We are seeking a curious, creative, and AI-obsessed design intern who is eager to explore the intersection of AI and design. If you are constantly experimenting with new AI tools or have the desire to do so, enjoy exploring innovative ideas, and are enthusiastic about the convergence of AI-first design with traditional design methods, then this opportunity is perfect for you. This unique design internship, known as AI-X internship, offers a chance to delve into how AI tools can be seamlessly integrated into everyday design processes. As an intern, you will engage in internal experiments and practical applications to help define how AI can enhance modern design workflows. Your responsibilities will include experimenting with various AI tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Galileo AI, and other emerging tools to develop visual assets, design systems, AI bots, and more. You will also be involved in integrating AI-generated content into real design projects, researching and testing new AI tools as our in-house AI explorer, providing support to the design team in UI/UX and visual design tasks using a combination of AI and traditional tools, engaging in video coding with a design-first approach to create functional platforms/apps, and contributing to documenting workflows, findings, and case studies. Furthermore, clear communication and articulation of ideas to the internal team are essential aspects of this role. The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, possess a solid understanding of design principles, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and enhance UI/UX skills. Familiarity with Design AI tools like Framer, Lovable, Scade, or any other similar tools is advantageous. A passion for both AI and design, along with a foundational grasp of design elements such as layout, color, typography, and UX thinking, is desired. A curious, self-driven individual who is open to experimentation and ambiguity, possesses excellent communication skills, and can work effectively in fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environments would be an ideal fit for this role.
