Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / AI Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, AI/ML model development, and data warehousing solutions.

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data architectures using Python and SQL.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes on Databricks or Snowflake platforms.
Implement AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems and derive actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from diverse sources and build efficient data workflows.
Ensure data quality, security, and governance best practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance of data systems and queries.
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

5+ years of hands-on experience in Python programming and SQL development.
Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms: Databricks and/or Snowflake.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelling (star, snowflake schemas).
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and integrating machine learning models into production.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Expertise in performance tuning, data pipeline orchestration, and workflow automation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with related tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, DBT, or similar.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
