AI Automation and Integration Developer

As an innovative developer at Leapswitch Networks, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on automation and AI projects. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, building, and maintaining AI-powered workflows, automations, and custom integrations across various domains such as customer service, sales, support, billing, monitoring, customer engagement, and sales intelligence. You will be expected to design and implement AI-driven automation using tools like OpenAI (ChatGPT, GPT-4), other LLM APIs, and SaaS AI tools. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating cloud services, internal systems, ticketing/billing platforms (HostBill, WHMCS), email services (Google Workspace), monitoring tools, and more using APIs. Your role will also include building and maintaining custom plugins (PHP, Python, JS) for platforms like HostBill and internal portals. Automation scripting will be a key part of your responsibilities as you automate repetitive tasks using tools like Make.com, Zapier, n8n, and custom code. Data processing and enrichment using NLP and AI techniques will also be crucial, where you will parse and enrich data related to tickets, logs, abuse, sales, and support. You will implement AI-driven notifications, summarizations, and action recommendations for staff and customers. It will be essential for you to experiment and prototype with new AI models, APIs, and automation tools to benefit the business. Documentation and training will also be a part of your role, where you will document workflows and train team members on new automations. To excel in this role, you should have experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI, Azure AI, Google AI, and Anthropic. Proficiency in workflow automation platforms like Make.com, Zapier, n8n, API integration, webhooks (REST, JSON, OAuth), coding in PHP and JS, SQL, data handling, familiarity with cloud hosting, SaaS, and/or MSP business processes, as well as good communication skills to explain AI and automation concepts to non-technical teams are required. Bonus skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience with ticketing/billing platforms like HostBill, frontend development (JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, Vue/React for admin UIs), monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Zabbix, ELK), familiarity with cloud platforms (Openstack, AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean), and security and compliance awareness related to data privacy and safe AI use.
