AI and ML Associate Director, Corporate Technology

Role Overview: As an Associate Director in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, your main responsibility will be to lead the path for the execution of end-to-end Artificial Intelligence Solutions. You will be based in Pune or Mumbai with a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility and collaborative office culture. Key Responsibilities: - Designing end-to-end solutions to generate valuable insights from complex data, focusing on large language models (LLM) and Computer Vision. - Leading AI engineering projects by designing, developing, and deploying solutions related to computer vision, content generation, and fine-tuning large language models like open-source LLM. - Leveraging state-of-the-art open-source frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers to extract insights from unstructured data. - Implementing Agentic AI design patterns and specializing in designing and implementing SFT and RLHF for fine-tuning domain-specific SLM. - Overseeing the complete lifecycle of AI engineering projects, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and monitoring. - Collaborating with global business owners and stakeholders to understand their requirements, present results, and provide recommendations. - Staying updated on the latest advances and trends in data science, AI, and large language models. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field. - 13 to 17 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, with a focus on large language models. - Proficiency in Python and data science libraries like pandas, numpy, TensorFlow, pytorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, or Haystack. - Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining data science solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Experience in sourcing data from SQL and NoSQL databases, with a basic knowledge of databases. - Strong coding principles and familiarity with RAG practices and SLM fine-tuning. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to balance independent and collaborative work in a fast-paced environment.
