As an AI Agent Integration Architect, your role is pivotal in deeply integrating AI Agents into healthcare systems for various partners such as providers, plans, pharma, and health technology companies. By establishing deep integrations, you will contribute to scaling agent use and enhancing value creation for partners. Your responsibilities include working closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and integration between AI agents and external systems like Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), and third-party healthcare partners. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the full integration lifecycle for major customers, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring seamless connectivity between AI agents and client systems. - Design, build, and maintain healthcare data integrations (using Python, HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, SQL) to enable real-time, reliable data exchange and accelerate customer go-live timelines. - Develop reusable components and integration templates to reduce delivery time and enhance implementation consistency. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently to drive faster recovery and higher customer satisfaction. - Lead the creation of deep integrations between AI agents and healthcare systems, ensuring smooth integration into clinical workflows. - Collaborate with clients and offshore integration teams to align on architecture, timelines, and technical execution. - Ensure all integrations meet healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, ONC Cures Act, TEFCA) to maintain data security and patient trust. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in healthcare integration, specifically with HL7 v2, FHIR, and API-based interoperability. - Hands-on experience with integration engines like Epic Bridges, InterSystems Ensemble, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, or Corepoint. - Proficient in FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR, RESTful web services, and working with EHRs and third-party health systems. - Strong scripting and development skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for integration tasks. - Familiarity with EHR APIs, RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, HIPAA, HL7, and healthcare regulatory compliance. - Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a strong ownership mindset for reliability, scalability, and quality. In addition to the above qualifications, the following would be nice-to-have: - Epic Bridges certification or FHIR certification. - Experience with cloud-based integration solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), HIEs, TEFCA, and data-sharing frameworks. - Knowledge of automation tools for EDI, FHIR bulk data workflows, CI/CD, containerization (Docker), cloud-based deployment pipelines, AI/ML data pipelines, or healthcare analytics.
