Agri Marketing and Sales – Job DescriptionPosition Overview

The Agri Marketing and Sales professional is responsible for promoting agricultural products and services, identifying potential markets, developing marketing strategies, and driving sales growth. This role involves building strong relationships with farmers, distributors, dealers, and agribusiness partners while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving revenue targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for agricultural products (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, livestock feed, etc.).
• Conduct market research to analyze consumer behavior, competitor activities, and emerging trends in agriculture.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, field trials, and farmer meetings.
• Create marketing materials such as brochures, digital content, presentations, and product guides.
• Coordinate with product development teams to improve offerings based on market feedback.

Sales

• Identify potential customers and cultivate relationships with farmers, retailers, distributors, co-operatives, and agribusiness firms.
• Present product benefits and technical features to customers and assist them in making informed decisions.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels at dealer/distributor points and ensure timely supply.

Customer Support

• Provide agronomic technical support to farmers on the proper use of products.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Conduct follow-up visits to evaluate product performance and gather feedback.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of crop production, farm inputs, and agricultural technologies.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel extensively in rural areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,864.92 - ₹35,837.12 per month

Work Location: Remote
