Job Description

Job Title: Assistant General Manager (AGM) Sales / General Manager (GM) Sales - Commercial Leasing Years of experience: 8-12 years Location: Chennai Salary: Open for Discussion Department: Sales and Business Development Reports to: Vice President Sales Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, specifically focusing on leasing coworking spaces and commercial office spaces. Identify and target potential clients, including startups, SMEs, and large enterprises, for coworking and managing office spaces. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion. Lead negotiations and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring optimal lease terms that benefit both the client. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry partners. Oversee the entire leasing process, from initial contact through lease execution, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for clients. Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored workspace solutions. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Analyze leasing trends and occupancy rates to identify areas of improvement and new business opportunities. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market positioning and growth strategies. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and motivation. Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present detailed sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, sales forecasts, and market insights. Ensure all sales activities and client interactions are accurately documented in the CRM system. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred Experience 8-12 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in commercial leasing within the real estate or coworking industry. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market and leasing practices. Skills Strong negotiation and closing skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze market data and trends. Leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Personal Attributes Results-oriented with a strong drive for success. Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing market. Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality service. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
