Job Overview:

Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the mechanical construction activities for the Lite Structural Mill project.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of the construction schedule.
Review and interpret technical drawings, mechanical layouts, and civil foundation plans.
Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of mill equipment and related mechanical systems.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the project.
Plan and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
Provide technical support and resolve site-related mechanical and civil issues.
Prepare progress reports and update management on project milestones.

Desired Candidate Profile:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Civil knowledge preferred).
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in
construction and/or mechanical in-charge roles
for industrial projects, ideally in
rolling mills or structural mills
.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plant layout, and structural fabrication.
Familiarity with civil foundation and erection activities.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
