Roles and Responsibilities :- Aftertreatment Integration Support: Provide integration support throughout the product development cycle, including pre-product planning, Value Package Introduction (VPI), and Value Package Change (VPC). Calibration Development: Develop and deliver ATI calibration per program requirements, including: Controller tuning for aftertreatment components such as DOC, DPF, and SCR. Aftertreatment system diagnostics tuning. Catalyst health management strategy and tuning. Stakeholder Collaboration: Obtain input and negotiate with stakeholders, providing recommendations that support project decisions, feasibility studies, and design optimization. Process Improvement: Apply and enhance processes related to thermal and fluid sciences, utilizing tools like GT-Power, Fluent, and Cummins Data Analysis Tool (CDAT). Project Leadership: Independently lead smaller business impact projects and manage Technical Direction: Influence the technical direction within project teams, continuing to develop and refine core competencies. * Qualifications and Competencies Experience: Previous experience as an Engineer in a relevant discipline, with a proven track record in technical problem-solving and quality decision-making. Competencies: Analytical Proficiency: Ability to interpret and predict system performance using quantitative methods and tools. Systems Thinking: Skill in defining system boundaries and understanding interactions within the system. Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to convey complex information to various stakeholders. Decision Quality: Capacity to make informed decisions promptly to keep projects on track.
