Role Name:

AEM SME (Adobe Experience Manager Subject Matter Expert)

Role Overview:

site assembly, functionality testing, and operational governance

Key Responsibilities:

• Feature Demo & Documentation Review:

  Review demo sessions, recordings, and Confluence documentation for completeness.

• Assembly & Testing:

  Assemble and test demoed features in lower environments to validate end-to-end functionality.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify process or functional gaps and communicate them proactively.

• SME Guidance:

  Act as the AEM expert, guiding site assemblers and ensuring best practices are followed.

• Cross-Team Collaboration:

  Coordinate with Microservices and development teams for issue resolution and clarifications.

• Training & Documentation:

  Create and maintain training materials, support site assemblers, and handle related queries.

• Technical Oversight:

  Monitor site structure, performance, broken links, and optimization tags; ensure timely resolution.

• Governance Participation:

  Attend site governance meetings to align priorities and ensure compliance.

• Training Sign-Off:

  Approve operational training and verify completeness of site handover documentation.

• Blueprint Development:

  Contribute to site blueprint design and maintenance for operational readiness.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

  AEM, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (hands-on site assembly, testing, optimization).

• Tools:

  JIRA for issue tracking and project management.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making.
  
• Effective stakeholder management.
  
• Attention to detail in documentation and testing.
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  
• Exposure to web performance monitoring and optimization.
  
• Prior involvement in site governance and operational sign-off.
