Aem Architect

An AEM Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-performance digital experience solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem. The role involves defining AEM architecture blueprints, component structures, and integration strategies with third-party systems such as CRM, analytics, and marketing platforms. The AEM Architect collaborates closely with business, UX, and technical teams to translate requirements into optimized solutions aligned with Adobe and enterprise best practices. Key responsibilities include overseeing implementation, ensuring code quality and performance, leading AEM as a Cloud Service migrations, and implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices. The architect also drives security, caching, and CDN strategies for global deployments, while providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. Expertise in AEM architecture (Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher), Java, HTL/Sightly, JavaScript frameworks, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is essential. Strong communication, solution design, and stakeholder management skills are critical, with Adobe Certified Expert AEM Architect/Developer certification preferred.

Core Responsibilities

Deep understanding of Adobe AEM architecture (preferably version 6.5 or AEMaaCS).

Must Have

Lead the design and architecture of AEM-based solutions including CRX/CRXDE, WCM, DAM, Launch and Analytics.

Experience with Java, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies.

Must Have

Implement scalable AEM solutions for web and mobile platforms.

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Must Have

Evaluate digital technologies for fit and sustainability.

Knowledge of DAM, multilingual content strategies, and personalization.

Must Have

Oversee Adobe development efforts and provide technical guidance.

Proven experience in building commerce solutions using AEM, with integration expertise across platforms such as ATG, Magento, or other e-commerce systems and integrating with payment gateway systems.

Must Have

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated digital experiences.

Experience in integrating Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Target, Launch, and Analytics

Must Have

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand problem statements and deliver scalable, effective solutions.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Experience in Web Component Development using Angular or React.

Must Have

Building FE solutions using NodeJS

Must Have

Strong Agile principles, practices, and frameworks skills to manage and deliver projects effectively.
