As an Advisor in the Tax team at Dell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company meets its tax obligations efficiently. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of tax management, including research, planning, compliance, and the development of systems to enhance data collection and analysis for tax purposes. You will stay updated on the latest tax laws, prepare and submit tax returns, and address inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders. Your primary focus as a Direct Tax Advisor will involve supporting seniors in managing direct tax compliances, audits, and litigations. Collaborating with different business units such as Accounting, Sales, Business Finance, and Dell IT, you will handle internal and external tax inquiries. Conducting research on tax issues to devise and execute tax strategies or resolve tax-related matters will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with prominent tax consulting firms for the preparation and filing of direct tax compliances, audits, and litigations - Work closely with various stakeholders to gather and review information required for submission to tax authorities - Address international taxation issues including WHT advisory, inter-company transactions, cross-charge approvals, and queries from counterparts - Manage internal queries related to domestic WHT, employee taxation, and other tax matters - Support projects related to transfer pricing, restructuring, and other special initiatives Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in direct Tax domain as a qualified Chartered Accountant/Company Secretary/Cost Accountant - Practical experience in handling Direct Tax - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams - Good stakeholder management abilities Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of Visio or Power BI will be advantageous - Experience in working on special projects like APA, M&A, etc. Join Dell Technologies in Bangalore to embark on a rewarding career where you can make a significant social impact.
