As a Business Intelligence and Data Visualization specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the reporting infrastructure to support stakeholders in gaining insights into their advertising campaigns. Your responsibilities will include retrieving, compiling, transforming, and validating data to create dashboards for various clients, leading to the analysis and optimization of media investments. Your key responsibilities will involve data integration and transformation, where you will extract and integrate data from multiple platforms using tools such as Supermetrics, APIs, or FTP into Google BigQuery. You will also be tasked with building and maintaining automated data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient and accurate data ingestion. In the realm of data analysis and reporting, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports in tools like Looker Studio or Power BI to visualize key metrics. Additionally, you will structure and automate End-of-Campaign (EoC) reports for scalable reporting and address ad hoc data requests while updating dashboards based on evolving needs. Ensuring data accuracy through data validation and QA processes will be a crucial part of your role. You will conduct QA checks between media platforms and reporting outputs using tools like SQL, Excel, and DAX to identify and resolve data discrepancies, monitor data feeds for gaps or failures, and troubleshoot issues. You will also oversee QA processes for data provision to client data warehouses. Furthermore, you will collaborate with client teams to resolve data gaps and escalate issues as needed while building and maintaining taxonomy workflows to ensure adherence to naming conventions across all media channels. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role within data and analytics. Ideally, you will have 2-4 years of work experience in data management, data visualization, and data analytics, preferably in a marketing or media agency. Experience with Looker Studio for building dashboards is a must, along with knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation. Experience with pipeline tools like Supermetrics/Adverity, working in a Cloud environment (Google Cloud Platform), SQL, and Python is highly desirable. Your success in this position will also depend on your ability to ask questions, provide thoughtful answers, communicate effectively, think strategically, and collaborate with a partnership mindset.
