As an Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in developing new processes, defining equipment requirements, and reviewing processing techniques for manufacturing Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS-based inertial sensors and IMUs. You will be responsible for influencing the planning and designing of manufacturing processes, determining necessary equipment and tools, and maximizing efficiency by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. Your responsibilities will include providing test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro and Tactical Guidance Products production, conducting yield and performance data analysis, utilizing CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies, investigating and resolving technical issues, and driving improvements in product design and manufacturing processes for cost and cycle time reductions. You will also support the development of new products, maintain factory capacity through test equipment knowledge, and foster a self-driven work culture to achieve operational excellence. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering or Physics, along with at least 5 years of overall experience and 2+ years in a manufacturing/production environment. Experience with product or process engineering, optics, working in a cleanroom environment, and familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies are highly valued. Additionally, your ability to balance priorities, demonstrate a hands-on work ethic, collaborate effectively with team members, and identify interrelationships among various problems will be essential for success in this role. The annual base salary range for this position is between $104,000 and $130,000. Please note that salary considerations are based on various factors including the scope of responsibilities, work experience, education, skills, and market considerations.
