Advanced Engineer-Android Framework

As an Android Framework Developer at HARMAN Connected Services, you will be involved in designing and developing headless services for communication components, AIDL interfaces between UI and headless applications, and Android framework components tailored for automotive platforms. You will also be responsible for performance optimization to meet automotive KPIs, collaborating with the user concept, and integrating customer-centric Android apps into car multimedia systems. Your role will require quick learning of Embedded Android and Linux technologies for full-stack Android development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and Development of headless services for communication component - Design and Development of AIDL interfaces between UI and headless application - Design and Development of Android framework components and HAL services for automotive platform - Performance measurement and optimization to meet automotive KPIs - Collaborating with User concept for product-based design concept - Working with multi-location team and product owners for customer-centric Android app integration in Car multimedia - Quick learning of Embedded Android and Linux technologies for full stack Android development **Qualifications Required:** - Solid expertise in AOSP, AAOS, Android framework, and services - Solid expertise in Multimedia (Audio or Video) services - Solid expertise in AIDL Interfaces Design and Implementation - Good experience in Android connectivity (e.g., WIFI) - Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android and/or Linux - Programming skills in Java/Kotlin, Linux - Understanding of git, CI/CD workflow - Experience in agile-based projects At HARMAN Connected Services, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects spanning automotive, audio, IoT, and cloud services.
