Job Description

Advanced System Administrators, possessing effective communication and problem-solving skills, will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of Citrix environments. This includes ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organizational functions. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering and supporting Citrix. Proven experience with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops . Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell). Certifications:Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) or other relevant certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCE-V) are a plus. Responsibilities Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure Citrix environments including but not limited to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops . Configure and manage Citrix policies, profiles, and user sessions . Deploy and configure Citrix ADC for load balancing and secure remote access. Administration and Support: Administer and maintain Citrix infrastructure, including updates, patches, and upgrades. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Citrix-related issues. Monitor and optimize Citrix environments for performance, reliability, and scalability . Manage and maintain Citrix licensing . Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices within Citrix environments. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other systems and applications. Provide guidance and support to junior team members and other IT staff. Document procedures, configurations, and solutions for knowledge transfer. Additional Duties & Responsibilities: In-depth knowledge of Citrix architecture and components . Strong understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy . Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills . Strong scripting skills , particularly with PowerShell. Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools . Strong communication and documentation skills . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant Additional Information Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) . Experience with Citrix Endpoint Management . Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices .
