Advanced Chemical Engineer

As part of the world-class 24*7 Global Solution Control and Command Center (GSCCC) in Gurgaon, India, you will play a crucial role in transforming the UOP LST Connected Solutions. Your technical analytical data science, machine learning, and business knowledge skills will be put to use to extract technical insights from live operating data of customers. This work will not only define the UOP Customer Experience but also serve as a significant milestone in your career growth. - Be agile, innovative, and customer-focused in your approach. - Review operations with customers, define and quantify customer benefits. - Monitor UOP technologies processes, identify areas for improvement/optimization, and focus on assets that require attention. - Provide technical solutions promptly to customers. - Conduct initial triage of technical issues and escalate as necessary. - Proactively communicate insights from trends, establish patterns, conduct diagnostic investigations, and offer solutions to prevent future issues. - Ensure the upkeep of all solutions by troubleshooting various technical aspects on time to maintain high on-screen availability. - Apply data mining techniques to handle unstructured data and derive technical insights. - Perform descriptive and inferential statistics to summarize datasets effectively. - Analyze historical data, clean up and filter data, identify patterns, create variables, and apply automated predictive analytics. - Design and develop pipelines to support products, systems, and solutions. - Innovate with the team to develop next-generation BIG DATA monitoring tools and build operational dashboards for sustainability and efficiency. - Align with the intention of the LST Business and commit collectively to achieving key results. - Work as part of the 24*7 Operation of GSCCC Digital Insight, including working in shifts and closely collaborating with the GSCCC Operation leader. Additional Candidate Qualifications: - Passion for visualizing hidden relationships in technical data using ProSight. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to multi-task and be flexible to work in shifts on short notice. - Continuous learning mindset with a research-oriented approach. - Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and suggest improvements. - Knowledge of DataScience Open Source tools is a plus. - Proficiency in computer applications with a focus on Data Analytics & Data Science. - Creative approach to process development and customer-centric behavior. - Comprehensive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. - Ability to define problems with limited information. - Willingness to travel globally for customer-facing and internal/external purposes, up to 10% of the time.,
