Advance Technology Planning

As a Technology Planner focusing on Safety, Comfort & Convenience Technology, your role involves exploring emerging trends such as autonomous driving, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. You will integrate these trends into the company's safety roadmap where applicable. Your key responsibilities include: - Developing and managing the strategic roadmap for ADAS technologies, encompassing features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, and autonomous driving capabilities. - Identifying consumer latent needs and potential technologies to enhance customer comfort and convenience. - Collaborating with engineering, R&D, software development, and safety teams to develop systems aligned with vehicle architecture and performance goals. - Coordinating with global and regional product teams to ensure Safety, Comfort & Convenience features are tailored for specific market needs and regulations. - Acting as the point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure development timelines align with product launch schedules. - Working closely with vehicle design and UX/UI teams to ensure features provide a seamless and intuitive user experience. In terms of competency requirements, you should have: Technical/Functional Skills: - Understanding of macro-economic factors and their impact on the Passenger Car market. - Proficiency in using project management tools and methodologies. - Ability to evaluate product features in terms of cost, performance, and customer value. - Expertise in MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and business portfolio & financial analysis of OEMs. Behavioral Skills: - Excellent presentation and communication skills. - Self-driven, eager to learn, and result-oriented. - Well-organized, highly motivated, and able to work cross-functionally. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to manage stakeholders across different levels of the organization and functions. In addition to the technical and behavioral competencies, having a basic knowledge of emerging trends in product, body type, technology, design, etc., vehicles segmentation understanding, data analytics, and translating consumer voice to technical parameters will be beneficial for this role.
