This role offers the opportunity to gain deep knowledge of international university admission processes and work closely with key stakeholders, clients, and university partners. The Admissions Officer will oversee the entire lifecycle of students under the scholarship program, from admissions and visa applications to university enrollment and pre-arrival preparation. A strong sense of ownership and a commitment to delivering an excellent student experience is essential. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Student Profiling & Initial Counseling Engage with prospective students via calls, virtual sessions, and online groups (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.). Understand students academic background, career aspirations, and financial situations. Explain program benefits, scholarship opportunities, course options, and long-term career prospects. Assess student eligibility and match them with suitable academic programs and universities. Provide tailored guidance based on conversations and individual student needs. Application Guidance & Document Collection Guide students through the university application process step by step. Assist in preparing and reviewing required documents, including SOPs and application forms. Ensure timely collection and verification of academic and identity documents. Maintain accurate and complete student profiles with consistent follow-ups. Offer Letter & Admission Confirmation Coordinate with universities to secure offer letters. Clearly communicate offer letter details, including scholarships, course structures, and fee information. Ensure students and guardians complete admission acceptance formalities within deadlines. Financial Counseling & Fee Guidance Advise students and parents on financial commitments, including tuition, living costs, travel, and other expenses. Explain payment schedules, accepted payment methods, and required documentation. Address queries related to affordability and payment plans. Relationship Management Serve as the single point of contact for students from enrollment until arrival. Maintain regular, proactive communication to keep students engaged and supported. Facilitate participation in pre-arrival coaching and orientation programs. Foster strong relationships to ensure student satisfaction and retention. Expectation Management & Continuous Support Set clear expectations about program benefits, addressing gaps between initial promises and actual services. Provide transparent communication to prevent misunderstandings. Motivate students to remain engaged and contribute positively. Problem-Solving & Escalation Handling Proactively identify and resolve student concerns. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, visa, services) for quick resolution of issues. Take accountability for delivering a seamless student experience. Pre-Departure Coordination Provide essential information on travel, airport pickups, cultural adaptation, and accommodation. Organize virtual or in-person pre-departure briefings. Coordinate with logistics, university orientation teams, and accommodation providers for a smooth transition. Prepare students for handover to the student affairs team upon arrival. Visa & Documentation Support Assist students with visa application processes, including document preparation and interview readiness. Coordinate the issuance of offer letters, admission letters, and supporting documents. Track visa approvals and assist with travel planning. Reporting & Feedback Maintain detailed, up-to-date records of each student's progress. Provide regular updates to internal teams and leadership on student engagement, conversions, and issues. Share feedback to continuously improve processes and enhance the student experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 4+ years of experience in student counseling, admissions counseling, or educational services , preferably for undergraduate programs. Strong understanding of UG admission processes across boards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, and international systems). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students, parents, and academic institutions. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong organizational and time management skills with an eye for detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
