Job Summary

VJIM is seeking a dynamic and field-oriented Admissions Outreach Manager to enhance the institutes visibility and student outreach efforts. The role focuses on creating admissions marketing collaterals, conducting on-ground outreach across colleges and coaching centres, participating in B-School fairs, and generating quality prospective student data to support the admissions pipeline.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Marketing Collaterals & Visibility

  • Conceptualize, create, and update flyers, brochures, and outreach material for the PGDM program
  • Coordinate with design/print vendors to ensure timely and high-quality materials
  • Ensure consistency of messaging aligned with the institutes brand and admissions strategy

College & Coaching Centre Outreach

  • Plan and execute visits to degree colleges, universities, and coaching centres across cities, towns, and states
  • Conduct presentations, information sessions, and interactions with final-year students and aspirants
  • Build relationships with college authorities, placement officers, and coaching centre managers
  • Collect and manage prospective student data for admissions follow-up

Events & Field Engagement

  • Represent the institute at B-School fairs, education expos, and career guidance events
  • Travel extensively within the city and across regions as per the outreach plan
  • Coordinate logistics for stalls, branding, and student engagement activities at fairs

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach visits, contacts, and leads generated
  • Submit outreach reports, including visit outcomes, lead quality, and conversion potential
  • Coordinate with admissions counsellors and telecalling teams for lead nurturing and conversion

Experience & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in admissions outreach, education marketing, or field sales
  • Prior experience in higher education/B-School outreach will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Ability to build institutional relationships and networks
  • Creative orientation with an eye for branding and student engagement
  • Self-driven, organized, and target-oriented

Technical & Tool Proficiency

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.) is an advantage
  • Experience with CRM/lead management systems is a plus

Work Environment

  • Full-time role with extensive field work
