Admission Counsellor / Tele caller – Coaching Institute

IITMINDS is a well-established offline coaching institute in Ghatkopar West offering classroom coaching for:

• Maharashtra State Board (Std 8, 9 & 10)
• JEE Main & JEE Advanced
• NEET-UG
• MHT-CET

We are expanding our admissions team and are looking for focused, confident Tele callers and Admission Counsellors who can handle cold calling as well as incoming enquiries and convert them into confirmed admissions.

Role Overview

This role involves calling prospective students and parents, generating interest, explaining our courses, and converting enquiries into admissions.

Cold calling will be a regular part of the job, along with follow-ups and handling walk-in enquiries at the centre.

This position is suitable for candidates who are comfortable speaking to parents, can handle rejection, and are motivated by targets and incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents
• Convert cold calls into interested enquiries through clear communication
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and walk-ins
• Explain courses offered for Std 8–10, JEE, NEET, and MHT-CET
• Clearly communicate fees, batch structure, schedules, and policies
• Follow up with parents and students until admission is confirmed
• Schedule counselling sessions, demo classes, and entrance tests (if applicable)
• Maintain enquiry and follow-up records accurately
• Coordinate with marketing executives and academic team
• Work towards daily calling targets and monthly admission targets

Required Skills & Eligibility

• Good communication skills in English and Hindi
• Marathi is mandatory; Gujarati is an added advantage
• Confident and clear phone conversation skills
• Comfortable with cold calling and follow-ups
• Ability to speak professionally with parents
• Target-oriented and disciplined approach to work
• Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
• Prior experience in tele calling, education counselling, or sales preferred
• Freshers with good communication skills may also apply

Working Days & Timings

• 6 days a week
• Fixed working hours (details during interview)
• Weekly off as per institute policy

Salary & Incentives

• Fixed Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month
