Role Overview: Are you a Mechanical Designer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving Siemens Energy is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Turbine Design department in the Additive Manufacturing engineering division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop groundbreaking design solutions and concepts for turbine parts using cutting-edge 3D CAD systems. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the mission of changing the world's energy systems. Key Responsibilities: - Bring creative design solutions to life for turbine parts using top-tier 3D CAD systems - Evaluate designs from functional, manufacturing, and cost perspectives - Create dynamic 3D CAD parametric models for multi-disciplinary design optimization - Provide mechanical design advice to product design teams - Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team to ensure product optimization - Support planning of product definition tasks and manufacturing support efforts Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in design engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field; substantial work experience in product development may be considered - 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, with expertise in component design, stack-up analysis, and geometric product specification - Proficiency in Siemens NX 3D CAD system, MS Office, Siemens PLM Teamcenter, and SAP - Proactive, analytical, organized, and strong communication skills - Intercultural experience preferred, with a global perspective valued Additional Company Details: This role is based at Site (Gurgaon) with opportunities to visit other locations in India and beyond.
