Actuarial Associate

As an Actuarial Associate at Agam Capital in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Life Insurance Products gained through 4-5 years of experience. Your role will revolve around various aspects of actuarial work related to pricing, valuation, risk management, model development, and more, focusing on US Life Products including Traditional and/or Annuity products. To excel in this position, you should be on the path to becoming an Associate or Fellow with a minimum of 10 papers cleared. Proficiency in utilizing actuarial projection or valuation software such as AXIS is essential. Your strong analytical skills will be put to the test as you tackle complex process problems with a creative approach. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the conversion and valuation of different blocks of business, participating in model testing and validation exercises, developing cashflow models for insurance liabilities, investments, and derivatives, and conducting experience analysis on insurance blocks. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing financial models, monitoring capital position changes, enhancing existing models, evaluating capital requirements for new business activities, and providing ad hoc capital analysis to support strategic initiatives. This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
