Job Designation: Safety officer Job Description: Develop and implement fire and safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct fire risk assessments and implement necessary fire prevention measures. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of fire safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, alarms, hydrants, sprinkler systems). Carry out regular fire drills and emergency evacuation drills. Investigate fire incidents and safety violations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Conduct safety inspections and audits across departments and work sites. Certification in Fire Safety, Industrial Safety, NEBOSH/OSHA (preferred). Minimum [1] years of relevant experience in fire and safety roles. In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes, occupational health, and safety regulations. Experience with safety management systems and emergency response planning.
