Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Executive in Accounts & Finance, you will have the following responsibilities: - **Accounting Tasks:** - Maintain day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping using software such as SAP, GSS, etc. - Record journal entries, conduct ledger scrutiny, and prepare trial balances. - Reconcile bank statements and vendor/customer ledgers. - **Financial Reporting:** - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. - Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis. - Monitor and analyze financial performance to suggest improvements. - **Taxation & Compliance:** - Handle GST filing, TDS deduction, and returns filing. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and documents. - Ensure statutory compliance with tax regulations such as Income Tax, PT, PF, ESIC, etc. - **Cash & Bank Management:** - Manage cash flow planning and control, including daily fund management. - Handle banking operations like deposits, withdrawals, and online transactions. - Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS). - Coordinate with HR for salary processing and statutory deductions. - Maintain records of employee expenses claims and reimbursements. - **Internal Controls & Documentation:** - Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures. - Maintain proper filing of financial documents, vouchers, invoices, etc. - **Support to Senior Management:** - Provide financial insights to management for decision-making. - Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required by CFO/Manager. **Key Skills Required:** - Knowledge of accounting standards and finance principles. - Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, Excel. - Accuracy and attention to detail. - Good communication and analytical skills. - Up to date with tax laws and compliance requirements. **Education:** - B.
