Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Officer
Job Summary: The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. This role includes preparing financial documents, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Experience working with Salesforce will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Prepare, maintain, and process financial documents such as invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records. - Monitor and record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system. - Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial entries. - Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, company policies, and internal controls. - Support audits by providing necessary documentation. - Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum 6 months of relevant accounting or finance experience. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. - Experience working with Salesforce is a strong plus. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment:
The Accounts Officer will work in an office environment and collaborate with colleagues from admissions and other internal departments. The role may include coordination with external vendors, banks, or auditors.
