We are looking for an Accounts Officer with experience in the insurance sector to handle accounting, compliance, and financial operations at our Head Office in Kolkata. The role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to take ownership of end-to-end accounts management.
Manage day-to-day accounting entries and ensure accurate books of accounts.
Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Take care of premium collections, claims-related accounting, and reconciliations (insurance-specific tasks).
Coordinate with auditors during statutory and tax audits.
Support budgeting and cost analysis for management decisions.
