Preferred candidate profile

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the financial accounts of the company, this involves the day-to-day accounting function and ensuring closing of books in time bound manner on periodic basis including, provisions/accruals, ledger scrutiny, vendor & employee payments etc.
Commercial evaluations of the various purchase proposals and other proposals having financial implication.
Compiling/designing MIS/Decision Support system, Budgets & Forecasting.
To ensure statutory compliance with respect to ESI, PF, GST, TDS, etc. and timely return filing.
Responsible for adherence to financial & accounting policies and operating procedures framed by the company.
To Handle Internal, Statutory, GST and Tax Audits.
To Handle Income Tax Assessments/Scrutiny.
To Manage the Cash-flow of the Company and preparing Daily Cash-flow Position and maintaining relationship with bankers.
Designing and strengthening the internal financial controls to mitigate financial risks and SOPs of F&A function.
Managing the F&A team at Head Office and Plant and motivating and guiding them.
Understanding the process of data flow between Purchase, Stores, Operations and Accounts Department for accounting and reconciliation between systems.

Educational, Professional background and Experience

Bachelor/Master degree in Accounts/Accounts & Business Statistics, finance or a related field. CA (Inter)/MBA in Finance OR MCOM
15-20 years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts & Managing Finance & Accounts Department of a Medium size company.
He should be well versed with Companies Act, Direct Tax, GST, Accounting Standards & INDAS.
Preferably a person who has worked on Tally package.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
