Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities

A. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations in line with real estate project activities.

• Maintain and review general ledger, project ledgers, and books of accounts.

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage revenue recognition as per real estate industry standards (Percentage of Completion Method / Ind AS 115).

• Monitor receivables and ensure timely booking of revenue from sales.

B. Project Accounting & Cost Control

• Track project-wise cost, budgets, and variances.

• Ensure proper accounting of construction expenses, material purchases, and work orders.

• Coordinate with project teams for reconciliation of bills and project expenses.

• Review contractor/vendor invoices, certifications, and ensure timely payments.

C. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Ensure compliance with RERA accounting and reporting norms.

• Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

• Ensure proper filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

• Maintain documentation for regulatory bodies and financial institutions.

D. Cash Flow & Fund Management

• Prepare cash flow statements, fund flow reports, and project cash forecasts.

• Coordinate with banks for project loans, disbursements, and documentation.

• Manage customer collections, overdue tracking, and escalation.

E. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare and present MIS reports (sales, collections, expenses, project status).

• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.

• Highlight risks, variances, and financial performance indicators.

F. Team Management

• Lead and mentor the accounts team.

• Ensure timely completion of accounting tasks and high-quality output.

• Develop SOPs and strengthen internal controls.
